I'm not sure if anyone can help me here, but I am hoping...
I set up a user (myself) so that I would have to enter a password everytime my PC boots up and prior to Windows ME starting.
Now I want it gone as if it never happened and no more asking for passwords. I tried restoring to another point prior. Also, tried disabling a user profile per an instruction I found, but both to no avail.
Can anyone help me get rid of this function, I am desperate? I would appreciate any assistance. Thanks so much in advance!!

Reinstall windows.
C:/windows/opitions/caps/setup
This is a basic install of windows. But make sure that you have your Windows ID ready when promt. When I did mine it was already there, but just in case.

I heard that if you put a round slice of cheese, it has to be American, in the CD drive that it will store the password and not make you re key it in.
The Hammertime trick should only be used if the cheese trick doesn't do it.

Just change the password to nothing. It'll stop asking.

The Big Cheese. He's being cryptic. Look at his status. Put Big American cheese in there. It'll work - I think.

Just make sure you spell "nothing" without the caps on.

Daniel is Canadian, silly. Big American Cheese just wouldn't work.
But, "The Big Cheese, Eh!" would work!

Canadian Cheddar . . . sounds like something of an oxymoron to me. Quite tasty though.

Canada has industry? I thought after NAFTA, it all went to Mexico (or was that just the U.S.'s).
