OK, I fastened my new 60" Elite panel to the wall with long gutter nails (I drove four nails straight through the front of the TV and into the studs.)The mounts seemed a little too expensive.
Do you guys think this will affect my picture quality? It hasn't worked since I did this, but I figure I just have it hooked up wrong, or something.

You forgot to mentioned if you put a nail through the wall outlet to keep it in place. If you did not, then I believe that if you drive a nail through the plug into the live outlet, it will turn on the plasma screen and keep it running through your shocking experince.

Depends on the nails, the 30$ gold plated nails with platnum heads will be much better. But make sure you get the ones that were prefrozen. As for why it does not work, it might just be out of gas, with prices going higher by the hour some stores have stopped prefilling them.

I think that I saw a web site that sells the gas for about $10,000? I think it's pretty cheap considering that the alternative is to buy a new set with the gas and the mounts for it as well.

Rob, you are getting ripped off, I just bring mine to the gas station and fill it up. But I do use the premium platinum gas at the pump. Also I add a few drops of oil before I pump the gas, it gives better blacks

Wouldn't it be funny if someone actually mounted a plasma like that, like out of anger? Or if you knew it was your last day at the job because you just won $100M on the lottery and you knew you were going to see your "favorite" customer. Oh well, shattered dreams!!
