At work, I have XP and it has the Slideshow as an option in its Control Panel under Screensavers.

At home, I have '98 - and woe is me, no Slideshow option. I'd love to have it at home. What are my options, other than upgrading to XP (which I can't unless I take my computer in to get more memory - XP won't install fully. It stops at 90%)

Win 98 does not have the slideshow. The only one that has is that I know of, is the one that you said, XP.

But I have a question for you. How much memory do you have in your win 98 computer as you say that win XP stops at 90% because of memory problem?

do a search on Google for slide show screen saver. Like Rob said, it is not part of win98, but there are many third party apps ouit there.

I don't know how much memory my computer has. You see, I'm not that Computer Literate. I'm more of a Computer Typist Who Can Surf The Web.

-Most would consider me Computer Retarded, though.

I guess I'll have to check out the 3rd party apps that are out there.

---there was one, ScreenTime, that had something of interest, but my computer wouldn't allow me to it. I got the old "Page Not Found" routine when I tried to download it.

My computer needs to be shot.

Could be that the page does not exist any more. Google (and others) index pages. So if the site changes the search engine does not know about it.
