Let's all give a bow to John Pechulis.

In fact, we would be long past 20,000 if John had started the thread in the Intermission forum right from the beginning. It was actually started in the Pronto forum, and had quite a few posts before John was convinced to start it anew over here.

It's a great run, eh John?!!!

Oh the font of all knowledge, just like my dad.

He can tell me how much his electricity bill for the first quarter of 1963 was.

Hmmm. Subtracting 762 posts from 20,000, the "theoretical" post #20,000 was made by King of Typos on February 1st this year.

And I merely used the search engine. ;-)

Really?

So if this was the orginal thread from the pronto forum I would of been number 20,000 on that date?

That's pretty neat.

yes, but both were going for some time in parallel, so chances are that if it was started here it would not have been an A+B. Also I think the moving of the thread (i.e. please use the one in the intermission forum) brought some of these people with it.

I went back and looked at page one again to see who was around then:

John Pechulis -started this with the word "Happy".

Larry Fine -doesn't hang around here much anymore.

GregoriusM -comes and goes...give him some credit (before he claims he had the inside scoop!) for getting John to come to the intermission forum.

djy -deej is always nearby.

Anthony -the hardest working guy on the job (don't tell his boss).

bent -who was bent? He must have broke!

Bruce Hartley -likewise

mason hatcher -came around for awhile then disappeared.

Ken - never too far away.

Cyber Vixen - Oh, what ever happened to our little angel?
