I give out very few compliments. In fact, I have never given a compliment. That said, I must compliment Daniel for this improvement.

I'm so happy for all you broadband users out there. Just to let you know that for me and my piddly dial up modem there's been diddly-squat of a difference.

Ahhhhhhhhh..... I remember the days of my brand new 300 baud modem! So cool!

I figure you should be happy that you can even get on to commiserate with us RC users, djy! ;-)

Well, even modem users should see an improvement on things like forum searching. :-)

I have dial up, and I did notice a difference.

Like for one, my cookies were erased for the forums here. At least I hope that is the reason why everything was "new", as in I haven't opened any of the links.

However, since I was able to upgrade my pc just tonight. I will be able to get dsl now. Before I was running at 250mHz. Now I am running at 550. Yeah I know I should upgrade to one that is faster, but I am happy with this for now.

Odd, cookie and link-wise the change should have been seamless. At least that's how my PC saw it...

Well that just about takes the biscuit. Getting my nosed rubbed in it - from a part timer.

I'll let you know after I've tried it. Don't hold your breath though. It's not something I do too often.
