Hi all,
I have a strange problem I was hoping someone can fix.

I just installed an IR-Distribution system. Although it took a while to figure out where to place the emitters on the equipment, I finally got everything working well with one execption. The DVD Power on/off will not work through the IR-Distribution. If the DVD is on I can use all other functions on the remote, but I can't power it down or power it back up without point it directly at the DVD player.

Is it possible there are two IR receivers in the DVD player? It is a cheap APEX Progressive DVD player.
Has anyone seen a similar problem?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Kelly

OK SmartAss, what's the problem? Where does it belong? On a site about Remotes in a forum listed as a "catch all". I would think it fits! If it doesn't, just politely tell me so.

Not having made 3000+ posts like yourself, I guess I just don't know any better. Please accept my apologies oh king of the internet forums!

There has got to be better things to do on the Islands than sit on a discussion forum and bash people. Get a life!
