I have a question of some what strange nature. Let me try to explain some background to you all...

At the office where I work we have a dedicated computer that does nothing apart from playing mp3-songs. The computer is located in our server room together with our NAD C740. We have placed speakers through out the rooms in our office.

We have developed an application to control the mp3-player through our office network and we can change songs, control volume from the computer and so on.

Now, what I'd like to do is to be able to control the C740 through the computer as well and I figure the NAD-Link would be one way to do it. Or do anyone have any other ideas on how to do that?

I'd like to be able to switch between mp3 and radio, change stations and control volume (among other things).

So what I'd like to find is some sort of spec of the NAD-Link so I can build the hardware and software to this. Better would of cource be if there is an device like this allready, thou I don't think the market would be very large...

Any ideas or anything at all around this topic would be very appreciated :-)

Cheers,

Tobias Nyberg
