Mele Kalikimaka
Hau'oli Makahiki Hou, Gung Hee Fat Choi.
(Merry Christmas)
(Happy New Year to one and all.)

Christmas Luau

'Twas the night before Christmas and all thru the hale
Was singing and dancing and hoomalimali
Papa in his malo and me in my mu`umu`u
Greeting aikane, pehea, mahalo.

Sister gathered flowers for a lei,
Brother watched the imu all of the day.
Soon the music boys began to play,
Mele old and new of Hawaii Nei.

Tables were loaded with plenty of kauakau
Opihi and salmon and steaming hot laulau.
We ate and talked stories until we were pau,
It was really maikai at our Christmas Luau.
Really maikai at our Christmas Luau.
Christmas Luau.

Thanks for the sentiment, Star. Happy holiday season to you as well.

I'd rather be where you are: A "White Christmas" is overrated, especially when you have to shovel and drive on the stuff. I much preferred the season ('75) I spent around Kailua.

I would guess would guess girls since the pick says Isabel & Sandra

I would guess it is a pic taken in the ice hotel in Quebec city by some tourists

it is a real functioning hotel (i.e. rooms you can rent for the night, bar....) [Link: icehotel-canada.com]

too bad I did not find this pic first

more in tune with my original answer
