Here's the situation:
I have a Marantz SR-5200, and the controller went dodgy.
Took the controller to RicherSounds, and they sent it to Marantz.
RicherSounds have had no word from Marantz and say they can't get me a replacement.
They've given me a Cambridge Audio learning remote.
Is there any way that I can make a remote from my PC that can transmit the codes so that the remote can learn them??
I'm desparate not to have to spend money on a Marantz remote that has the codes pre-programmed as they are a) v. expensive for a student, and b) I've heard that it doesn't work too well?
Any suggestions welcome as I'm fed up of having to walk over to my amp to change volume!
Also, I cannot use the setup features for the surround sound etc...
Any ideas?
