Toilet paper! What toilet paper? Or do you mean the kitchen roll I use when sometimes helping them out with a grassy bit?
PS They don't rub their bums on grass or carpet but do give them a good licking from time to time. Something to think about when they give you a kiss.

pardon \par"don\, n. [f., fr. pardonner to pardon.]
a release, by a sovereign from the penalties of an offense. a pardon is an act of a sovereign, in pure sovereignty, granting simply a remission of the penalty due to sin, but securing neither honour nor reward to the pardoned.
the word pardon, being early used in the bible, has the same sense as forgiveness; but in the language of common life there is a difference between them, such as we often find between corresponding anglo-saxon and norman words. forgiveness points to an inward feeling, and supposes an alienated affection; when we ask forgiveness, we primarily seek the removal of anger. a pardon looks more to outward things or consequences, and is often applied to trifling matters. the two words are, therefore, very clearly distinguished from each other in most cases which relate to the common concerns of life.
............granted.
