...OK. I'll start with a simple one...

For the new year, my brother says I should (better) change the ring on my cell phone and destroy the one I currently use so that the rest of the world will never have hear it again... The world would be a better place.

OK, since I never keep them anyway, here's a good one I will break...

STOP spending money on lottery tickets.

(BTW, the Florida lottery was up to 100 million this past Saturday. I spent $50 on tickets and won $5.00. I know, I know, with odds of 13 million to 1, you can call me stupid.)

There were 4 winning tickets - $25 mil each. One was sold at a food mart 5 minutes from my home.

I have an even better one for you.

Stop repeating yourself.

As for me, stop being late for work. Even though I am with in the 7 minute legal thing. During the summer, they adopeted a rule saying 1 minute, or 2 hours, late is late. Therefor you'll get a half point. Total BS. Even it wasn't for me, the place would not open. So even though I was 3 minutes late, I still got that half point. Despite the fact we opened on time. WITH 10 minutes to spare. Which is normale, wether I am late, on time, or even early.

You should have bought 13 million tickets.

How many tickets would one have to buy to have one of every possible number combination?

My math isn't that good, but my guess is at least 132.

I was thinking 13 million. Since the odds are 13 million to one. But that is my guess for a morning person after drinking the night before.

it would depend on the lottery, but I would also guess that Rob is right

on the other hand you should have told us earlier so we could get a ticket as well :-)

My take on lottery tickets is
1) buying one lotter ticket increases your odds of winning much more then not buying :-)
2) Even if I loose the money I spend goes into the system (like my friend says, a tax on stuppidity) but a tax is better then ligning the pockets of some rich guy (like a private casino)

...

would that be a redundancy, an oxymoron or a double negative?
