I've programmed everything, but have one device button that won't respond. When jumping from (ex) DVD to SAT, my (B&K) processor won't change sources.
Any ideas? The only thing I can think of is that the macro to turn the system on (incl. SAT) is somehow interfering with the function. Thanx in advance!

Before the more lunatic fringe respond (and get you totally confused) I think it best I inform you that the Intermission Forum is for the more non-remote orientated chatter. In other words, don't be surprised if the responses get a little stupid.

If it's a Pronto you have I suggest you post your question in the Pronto Forum.

I have a similar problem. The button in question in pinkish, recessed and unlabeled. Pressing prodding and probing have no effect any of my remote operated equipment, but it does give me a thrill!
I hope this helps.

Did you try to place your favorite vcr tape in the vcr and then pressing that button????? Usally the button knows what tape is in the vcr. And it will clean it up some how.

I have a B&K that had the same problem. To solve it, you must first unplug every connection in your unit except the sat connection, dial up the satelite provider and tell them to download Satfix # DLPDW7559140. But before that (hope you read ahead!) remove the cover of the processor and squirt nitric acid on all the gold connections just to make sure they are really gold and not fools gold. Be sure not to use aqua regia - that would be very bad. Then neutralize the acid with Windex. If you're out of Windex, Ragu spaghetti sauce will do. While you're at it, clean your windows. But don't use the spaghetti sauce - that leaves an undesireable film.

Then plug everything back in, but don't turn on the unit just yet. First check to make sure the spaghetti is done by throwing it on the ceiling and see if it sticks. Once it is done, neutralize it with hydrochloric acid. You can use the leftover nitric in a pinch, but the consistency won't be quite as good.

After a hearty spaghetti dinner (clean up after yourself) turn the B&K on by throwing the Pronto directly at the power button. If you miss, you'll have to start all over, but this time, download Satfix # DLPDW7559140-26762ASHL, since DLPDW7559140 will no longer work, having recognized that you already downloaded it and have not paid for the first download yet (it's a nominal $764 charge, billed to your credit card.) Then you will have to disconnect not only your equipment again, but also each neighbor's equipment, due to the interference from the much stronger download signal. If you have any pets, make sure they are shielded by lead or plutonium, so as not to affect their propensity for chewing on any cords lying around the house.

Good luck, Doug. If you are caught or killed during your mission, the secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions

Doug, I HATE it when that happens!

I had a similar problem with my mouse. I would move the mouse to the very edge, THE VERY EDGE!, of the mousepad, but, I still needed to move it more! After several dozen phone calls to technical support, I found a nice lady who suggested that my desk was too small! I bought a new desk from that same company for $7,200 ... I thought that was a bit high, but she assured me that it had been recently marked down from $7,225.

Anyyyyyway, it comes with, at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!, a much larger mousepad! It looks kinda like a doormat - it even has "WELCOME to HOLIDAY INN" embedded in the rubber - but it works GREAT!

Hope this helps!

woof woof bark woof bark bark woof woof yowl

(Please note though that this is "SHUT THE **** UP" for a Weimaraner. You'll need a copy of my Canine_Util © program to learn clean codes for any of the other breeds).
