I could live without...

...People who treat you like "Google".

...Phone companies that sell you "privacy manager", then sell a list to companies of people who pay for privacy manager, then offer you do be removed from the list for sale for an additional monthly fee... Yes,.. This is happening here and now.

Don't you have SBC phone company??????

Here in Connecticut. We have SNET Southren New England Telephone. Which was bought out by SBC 2 years ago. We were, and I believe still are the best company on the east coast.

I probably get a "privacy manager" phone call 1 day out of two weeks. In that one day, it's probably 2 maybe 3 of them. I really have no complant for it though. Because I am at work when they come in. But I also do know this. CT has a "do not call list". Which was avable state wide before privacy manager was. Which was, and still is, ran by the state. Although there were work arounds in that as well. Not sure what they are though.

Oh well.

There is one thing that I can live with out. That everyone would agree with me.

cigarettes I may smoke them. But thier too freaken adictive. Who else agrees with me on this one?

Drug dealers, drug users, drug producing countries - especially Iraq.

(P.S. I don't smoke, but I feel for those who do and want to quit. My sister has tried and failed.)

drugs, smoking, porn, calories, purging, tv, internet, (fill-in-the-blank with any excess you wish).......you must admit to yourself that you have a problem and make a strong, personal commitment to alter your behavior.

nothing else will do it for you.

i enjoyed all of the above (and more).....[yes,enjoyed, at the time]..... at different times in my life. tried any & all "remedies" available for each. but until i decided enough-was-enough, and i decided to commit to altering my life and behavior (not lifestyle), it was nothing less than a huge hole in my pocket/wallet/bank account. i could have easily spent everything my doctor(s) and the "specialists & program administrators" hoped i would spend.

but once i decided it was time.......i had much more money in my pocket and i was a much happier person.

Well with the place that I work at. I don't have to reach into my pocket at all. But for a doctor's copay of $10. All RX are free to all employees. However, my doctor told me she won't give me a RX to hlep me quit smoking because of my past medical history. Which really sucks anyways.

So I could live with out my past medical history.

People who don't listen to the message you put on your phone and insist on leaving personal information and requests for return calls.

"broadband" pages that don't offer a link to a dial-up quality page.

broadband's nice - if you can get it/afford it, but dial-up is still in the majority until those "ifs" get a reality correction.
