If you are a Dish network customer or similar, you can relate to this one. When those commercials are so bad and in heavy rotation, you are begging to hide from the them until the program comes back. How does one get around it? By carrying your RF remote so that you can hit the recall button. By putting the recall button on another program...or music, you can hide from comercials that are a far cry from the superbowl. What's needed then you ask? A very easy to carry, small, one button remote that you hit when commercials start. It goes to another channel for 2 minutes, after which an internal macro goes back after two minutes. If it were a small lanyard, watch or clip on unit, it wouldn't be like hauling a big remote around or putting in a geeky pouch on your clothes.
Make one and I will give you a credit card for it right now. The situation is so bad, I am thinking about giving up cable and going for a service like netflix.com
Thanks,
Jeff Brotherston Sick of bad commercials trying to brainwash me every 15 minutes.
