Hmmmmmm, now . . . here's a quandry: If you were to give every Chinese a one inch piece of Red Thread, and had them tie them all together (even given the length lost to the knots {lets saaay, 1/32nd per end X 2 (per piece) = 1/16th loss per piece}, this now makes each piece 15/16ths" long X 1,282,800,000 (~2002 population of China) / 12" (yields Feet) / 5,280' (yields miles)= ~189,808,534. Now I don't know about you . . . but I think an almost 190 MILLION mile long thread is gonna be a bit hard to beat! Wanna see something REALLY scary?Watch The Climbing Numbers!

I am somewhat offended that you chose to use the symbolism of red in your red thread remark as it relates to the Chinese. I sense a conspiracy in your call to action for the chinese reds to start tying knots around us. In fact, this reeks of McCarthyism at the very least, and as the honorable Joseph McCarthy would state: "I have in my hand 57 cases of individuals who would appear to be either card-carrying members or certainly loyal to the Communist Party, but who nevertheless are still helping to shape our foreign policy".
I, dear Sir, feel obligated to add you ..."Professor" Klaatu...to the list.
Next, I guess you'll be wanting to have a Monkey Trial.
