Seeing as my original inquiry was taken way off track, thought I'd start again. I'm looking for a good remote b/t $100-200 that can run a number of items. I've seen quite a few remotes and the touchscreens SEEM the best. Any advice? What about the PHILIPS TSU500 Pronto Neo Universal Intelligent Remote Control

never tried it, but I love my Pronto. I have heard mixed results from it. Also the intermission forum is for none remote discussions. This would be better posted in the universal remote forum, or if you want more info on the NEO in the NEO forum. That is why Daniel created all these nice categories (forums) for us :-)

Hey Terp,
That happens to all the threads in the Intermission forum, it's SOP. If you want to be sure that it doesn't happen again, and to get your thread read by more people, try posting it in the general forum

From all that i hear, you should stay away from the prontoNEO, if you really want a pronto, try and find one of the old ones (ie, the TS1000) which can be found re-furbished on the web for about $150.

What is it about touchscreens that you think you like?

Now that Rob mentionned it, I saw on surf remote control that they have refurbished TSU-2000's for 185.95

Surf Remote Control contributes a lot of help on the forums here at Remote Central. So does BlueDo. Check them out first. They'll be here to help if you need them. Good luck getting help from Best Buy or others!
