I have a Jerrold analog cable box which worked fine for about two years. I recently got a digital cable box installed on another TV and when the installer was there, I told him I no longer needed the Comcast-supplied remote for my analog box (I have a One-for-All) so he could take it back. He punched a bunch of buttons on the analog cable box and left.
Now, my One-for-All will not operate the cable box at all. Nor will my Samsung TV remote (which was programmable for the cable box) or another off-brand universal remote I had lying around. I suspect the repairman disabled the remote capability of the box somehow.
Any idea how to resolve this issue? Thanks in advance...

First, contact the installer.
Second, post your message in the Universal Remote forum. This forum is just for chatting about other stuff in general! You'll get a better chance of a reply by posting it there!
