I've got a question for all you A/V freaks out there. I am installing an integrated home theater in my bathroom/jacuzzi room. The only problem is that I need a waterproof/resistant universal remote control unit to run everything. I know they make them for pools but you have to buy the pool, theater system and remote all together. You cannot buy these parts seperately. I even went to the manufacturers site but they didn't sell the remotes or the A/V units seperately either. I would appreciate any help as soon as possible.

Thanks

What's the site of the manufacturer of the pools that have the theater systems?

If you go to the AIFA web site, they show a couple of remotes that are waterproof, and look kind of cool. They are universal remotes. The Y2 looks like it would be neat in a tub or hot tub and it comes in 3 colours.

Look on both pages that mention USA/ASIA.

You'll probably have to email them to find out where to get them.

Please let us know if you get any additional information.

I don't remember what the company of the pools was, I was on about 300 websites between wednesday and today and needless to say, I havn't kept track of all of them. The pool company did not disclose the brand name of stereo, just its features, and there was no pics. So I don't know about that. But, I think I will go to the AIFA site and see whats up. Thanks for your help guys!!!!

This sounds like a joke, but I don't mean it to be. Place your remote in a good zip-lock bag.

Also, take at look at the Xantech Waterpad. www.xantech.com
It's such a fine line between stupid, and clever.
