Also, it would be best if you posted your question in the Universal Remote forum.

Look for the thread named "Need code for Remote." Just post at the bottom -- We'll get back to you.

P.S. That's a JOKE! Read the thread first and you'll understand.

codes are something i think i need too so i will try to be specific about what i got i got a UNIVERSAL remote and a best buy tv the big one but not the biggest and a circuit city 4head hifi stereo vcr and the dvd that was the best one you could get last spring and a stereo what use to be my dads
even better is if a guy lives near me could he program the stuff i just want it to be easy to use and look good

anthony greg and bruce you seem to know what codes work best so i will leave it up to you to get my stuff hooked together i will pay for the wires if you guys could just spread the word and find someone who lives near me how much does it usually cost

Not a problem Chico, my man! We'll do it for free beer. Just give us your address so we can call taxis. The best codes for your universal remotes are the IR ones, and we've got plenty of them, so it should be easy. Greg always carries some spare codes around anyway... Can we borrow your brother Harpo for the sound checks?

P.S. luv your punctuation, but you forgot to POST IN ALL CAPS, SO WE WILL REACT FASTER!!! -B ;-)
