Mr. Stanley is a conservative after all....hallelujah!!!

Actually I grew up in a super conservative (but not religious) Conservative Republican family. My dad was a bigot, and racist, hated Pres. Kennedy, hippies, artists, the Beatles, Jews, Democrats, beat-nicks, Hispanics, Intellectuals--- you name it.
So, I know all about the conservative side of things.
He loved Archie Bunker on all in the family.

We lived in a middle class neighborhood, and once this Black Dr. started building a nice new home down the street. My dad, started a petition to stop them from building---said they were using inferior materials and building practices.

Something changed with the old man though, and he became less of a bigot, because he loved Mohammad Ali so much, and he thought the Repubs went downhill with Nixon. He never really became a Democrat, but just lost interest in politics, especially after the Viet Nam war started and the news would show some pretty horrible video footage each night and do the nightly body-count of dead soldiers for the day. I and my brothers lost several friends and the whole thing was a stupid horrible waste. Pissed him off. Me too.

He moved up to the San Juan Islands with his dogs and pretty much distanced himself from people as much as possible.

...So yeah I guess i have conservative roots. Been there, done that myself.

...So yeah my roots are conservative...

I just have to question the intelligence of the sales puke for plunking down 5k on what to me if I were in that situation would be an obvious attempt at some dirt bag trying to hawk stolen goods....PT Barnham was right :)

Yeah... it was so obvious, but his story to the cops was that this guy bought storage containers, so thats why he didmt know what they were... But they were stolen out of a locked U Haul trailer... An expensive lesson for the sales puke!

Yup...any chance they get.

Turns out the guy who those wackos killed at WalMart was carrying concealed and did try to stop them. Nobody that bitched about it came back on here and admitted it either...just funny how that works, huh?

What does that even mean? This quote should go in the one Daniel started about first impressions.

Can't you read? Conservatism gets a bad rap from liberalism every time it works to liberals advantage. If something conservative is good....it is overlooked.

I am 39 years old and i have still never met a conservative republican. I think its like big foot or the chupacabrra. Lots of people talking about it but no evidence of one in real life.

What are you conserving? Sure as hell isn't the environment.

Where is YOUR empathy.....buttwipe? At least the guy tried. He saw a man with a gun, not the woman behind him. He was at least trying to help.....you would have already stained your pants and been hiding like a little girl. You were just complaining to someone else about no empathy......and then you have none.
Hypocrite is exactly right.
