I have a RCA TV and VCR, a Pioneer receive/CD player and an Oritron DVD player. I'm looking for a touch-screen remote that's right for me. I've read hundreds of reviews and I can't decide which one is what I need. My budget is about $150.00. My entertainment system will grow, slowly, but I need something that will expand with me. Any ideas? Thanks.

I ran a quick check on the "clicker picker." Based on your requirements for a touchscreen and your budget of $150 or less, it recommended either the U Command model 515 or model 525.

I am NOT personally familiar with either of these remotes, but there are reviews and forums on this site that might be helpful. Good Luck with your decision, and please come back to let us know what remote you eventually decide on and why.

I don't know if J&R has any left, but they used to have some refurbished Pronto TS-1000 for 150. On the negative side there have been some bad ones, (some did not appear to be well refurbished) but on the plus side they were (at least from what was not mentioned) replaced, and they do come with a one year warranty from Philips.

The Home Theater Master MX-500 sells for around $115 to $150 dollars.
