Ed will be known as the Tiger Woods of the integration business, followed closely with the renaming of his company to "Hotties A/V". The tag line will be "We like big racks and tight holes"...
If I wanted to be bombarded with Political commentary, I'd be at a political site.
Why do some here continue their Political agenda here? If you really feed the need, try Intermission.
Ceied, Please spare us. (There are others here as well that this should be directed to. Please visit a political commentary site if you feel the need to discuss politics.)
PS: This goes for discussions of religion as well.
Bulls$%t. Politics aside, he has not accomplished anything substantial enough yet to earn this honor.
He's criticized when he looses something (The Olympics). He's criticized when he wins something (The Nobel). There are some people who will never accept a black President no matter what. Get over it.
When W was president, people in the middle east wore Osama bin Laden T-shirts. Now they're wearing Barack Obama T-shirts. For that alone he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize.
As Alfred himself would say, That's Dy-Na-Mite!!!!!

Why do some people click on links to something they claim they have no interest in? And then they will leave a comment saying how they don't want to be "bombarded" by these things! Bombarded by the topic of a thread? Gee, what made you click on something that doesn't interest you? What made you waste your time complaining about something that wastes your time? You're the one that wasted the time! Nobody forced you to click on the link. Did you click by mistake? Did the topic description confuse you?
And since when has congratulating somebody turned into an "agenda"?
Next time you're out shopping, get a life.

Personally, I'm not sure if he was the best candidate, however I can't think of anyone better off the top of my head and if nothing else the rest of the world doesn't hate the USA today (us, not the magazine) near as much as they did 3 years ago.
Obama wins but Gandhi was undeserving according to the "committee" during his last years on earth. There are many people who spent their whole lives trying to make this world a better place, what has Obama done to truly deserve this award?
From the Nobel website
"Gandhi made the Nobel short list three times: in 1937, 1947, and then posthumously in 1948. In 1937, the committee’s advisor criticized Gandhi’s dual role as a peace activist and political leader of an independence movement, writing that he “is frequently a Christ, but then, suddenly, an ordinary politician."
"On 27 November 1895, Alfred Nobel signed his last will and testament, giving the largest share of his fortune to a series of prizes, the Nobel Prizes. As described in Nobel's will, one part was dedicated to "the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses". "
I don’t see what Obama did to deserve this being nominated 2 weeks into his term.
If anyone deserves it, it should be the Dalai Lama. Obama was not even in office 10 days when the Nobel nominations were made. That simply proves that for this years voting, actual accomplishments meant nothing.
