Guys, wife just asked me if I can help her find her this gizmo.

She helps elderly with Medicaid or Medicare insurance, forms and stuff.
She OCASIONALLY goes and presents at retirement homes, and homeless shelters.
I asked, and she told me that most of those places don't have karaoke machines or local PA system (like in cafe only).

It needs to be clear but doesn't have to work for groups larger than 20-30 people.
I don't want to spend more than few hundred bucks because 1. she won't be reimbursed for this, and 2. she may try it a few times and not like it, or forget it at home etc., since this will not be a frequently used item for her.

120V would be cheaper I would suspect, and she won't have to worry about batteries not being charged. She can't use the megaphone type device, as she needs both hands to hold forms and stuff. Wireless would be best, but wired mike might have to surface.
Anything out there that could use the Motorola cellphone type blue-tooth mike/speaker ear bud thing I just picked up from Costco for 50 bucks for my phone?

Thanks,
Mario

I would look into this piece from Fender, the P-80:
Fender P-80
They have it at Guitar Center for $399

Or some others to choose from:

I have heard the Fender systems before, they sound pretty good, especially for smaller venues like what your wife will be using it for.

For the TOL with battery, wireless mic, CD, tape capability as well as being the choice of the White House, check out Anchor Audio's Liberty system.

We use these exclusively in the pro audio visual business. They are phenomenal and are fully US made in Torrance, CA.
