What device do you have? Whats the model number?

When you say philips pronto database.. which model pronto do you have?

How do you know you need hex?

You won't be able to extract the code directly from the Philips software. You will need to program a Pronto with that codeset, and then learn it into your AMX software (or where ever - but you're going to need a Pronto to send the codes).

The database in ProntoEdit does not contain raw usable hex codes, but merely pointer codes to the actual database onboard the Pronto. Thus the database codes in the software are useless without the physical remote.
