Last time I checked you were at home dreaming of days gone by while my boy Patino was leading the lovely Cardnal Red as the #1 seed. Does it make your brown eyes blue to be bleeding so much blue you might need to be rushed to an emergancy room?

                          1 2 T
#16 MST (20-16) 33 21 54
#1 UL (29-5) 35 39 74 Final

Just in case Trent missed it. It's only the first round, but is it not maddening that the last time you had anything to gloat about was when UK had a team full of Pitino recruits? At least you can still watch a Pitino coached Kentucky team in the tournament

On to the Round of 8.
                         1   2  T
#12 UA (21-14) 28 36 64
#1   UL (31-5)   49 54 103 Final

At least there will be an other team wearing blue for you to cheer on as UNC is destroying Gonzaga. Alas, you can recall the joys of auld lang syne as you watch the Red triumph in the present

Is this actually about the NCAA, or some cleverly thought out form of coded communication between Alan and Trent about politics...?

Perhaps Trent has lost the code book. It appears a little one way at the moment.

Of course it's one sided. If you were a UK supporter whose beloved team yet again failed to make it into the tournament while your cross-state rival, coached by the man who led your team the last time it had any success, would you be crowing?

When UK exited in the first round last year I was there to remind Trent. Now that the Cardnals are again advancing deep into March Madness I am again there to turn on a bright light on to the success of Lexington's finest team.

Damned right I am. Go Cardnals--and Tigers, for that matter. Happiness is Blue faltering while the Cardnal Red continues on its path to success.
