I had a dream last night about the camera in my iPhone. I pulled out my phone and selected the camera app to take a pic.. when i looked at the display there was 2 new icons. 1 was zoom and the other was video. I assumed it was new features brought to me by a recent firmware upgrade. Then i woke up.. :(

I guess i have to stick to this for now...

Iphone doesn't do video? Jeez...even the free piece of junk I have does.

Zoom is useless as it's digital zoom.

I dont get it with these guys.. the iphone is a great gadget but they dropped the ball on a few areas that should be easy enough to pull off.

The ability to view flash so i can watch hulu :).

Landscape texting. The browser can go landscape mode.. email can if you buy an add on app.. but not texting. They should have made it the same for all three.

And FYI.. i really did have that dream.. :)

Other cell phone companies market their phones as competitors to the iPhone simply because the "other" touch screen phones can do video.

I've seen the faux video apps for the iPhone, that essentially take "frames" of pictures and later on software re-creates the frames as video, but I feel so 1986 with that.

I agree with the landscape texting, very frustrating indeed.

Maybe Dr. Bott can make one of these, "The iScope"

I could really use an iPhone or iPod Touch attachment like this to stick in the wall before I cut a big-ass hole for a speaker. Also, if the economy gets any worse and there's no more custom install work, I'll just advertise my services as a proctologist.
