I tend to pull for the teams that never has. In this case the Super Bowl. In baseball the team that be in the league the longest and never own the world series. That's when there is no team that I'm really a fan of.

I've got a buddy who likes to claim he always routes for the underdog. Truth is, he can't stand losing...at all. So he can use the "they weren't suppost to win anyway" excuse when it doesn't go his way.

My impluse is a 180 from your mcn... If I don't have a team in the championship, I'll route for the dynasty. It more impressive then the flash in the pan one timers, or bought teams.

The Cards have been around for a long time and I'd like to see them win. As long as the game is a good game and one of the teams I like isn't in I really don't care. I would have liked to see the Cards win but it was a great game not especially well played though. When the Giants played the Pats I was for the Giants all the way. I can't stand losing but I wont use the excuse they weren't suppose to win at least in a game on this level. I also have no problem saying the team I'm pulling for shouldn't have one if they don't play well. So you really don't know me.

So much for having a conversation that makes any sense and/or contains consistant logic with you.... Sure sounds like a complete opposite.

. . . and did football evolve from rugby, or did it just suddenly happen?

Great game, indeed it's been a great season - even Detroit managed to end the regular season with a 100% record.

I'll not argue. I enjoy 'em both.
