Well another hot day, but we beat the record. Parts of Melbourne hit 47.9C or 118.2F

Supposed to hit -7°C tonight. Not as cold as the northerly climes across the pond, but certainly cold enough for me.

Cheer up, at least you don't have to worry about crocodiles down the main street.

That's called balmy with natural snow removal up here Tweet. :)

We're sitting at +7C or +44.6F for those of you that are afraid to break out of the dark ages and count by tens...lol.

I can do the metric for everything but temperature. Can't do this in my head C=5/9(F-32). Some I'm like 90% dark ages.

Fancy your chances at good old £sd?

As for myself, I know that -5°C is beyond too cold (fortunately last night temperature didn't get anywhere near the forecast -7°C) and above 30°C is getting beyond too warm. Anything in between, however, is something of a mystery; in much the same as telling me someone is 1.87m tall. Errr . . . What!

45 (F) today and sunny. Beautiful. Was over 50 yesterday.

Djy...you need a heavier coat. When you start talking about -5 or -7 Fahrenheit then it's cold.

The optimist claims the glass is half full; the pessimist claims it is half empty. An engineer observes that the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

Ps, you can't fix stupid

anything above 27 is too hot, and temps in the 40's are disgusting. Had to walk home saturday 1km as the trains had given up working due to buckled tracks. But i can tell you 46C and you can really feel the heat burning your skin.
I am glad i live in the suburbs and not the country, and do feel sorry for all those whom have lost their lives and houses though.

Even at -7°C I need a heavier coat, any more and I'd look like the Michelin Man. (Yes Greg, I know I already do, but let's not let facts get in the way of a good anecdote).

Closer to 6' 1½" actually, but I didn't know that, I just worked it out.
