[Link: telegraph.co.uk]I must admit that I would not. I tend to avoid toll roads if I am paying. Drivers pay enough in taxes which go to general revenue and very little to the roads. Most of the tolls in Aust go to private operators anyway.

In Chicago there are no car pool lanes. Last winter i was in LA and traffic was rediculous. Then we noticed the car pool lane.. we went from doing about 5 miles an hour to doing 60 miles an hour. 95% of the cars only had 1 person in them so they could not take advantage of the car pool lane.
I agree that drivers pay enough but i would probably do it to cut down on travel time.
