Is there a way to make threads display most-recent posts first? I looked in my account options, but can't find anything.

Sorry if this is an obvious or dumb question. But it's pretty annoying on long threads to always start at the beginning. :(

Doh!!!

What a pain. (Be sure to put that in the re-design, Daniel.)

Thanks for the reply.

why?

is it the last one you want? or the unread? if it is the latter, click the yellow "new" beside the thread title. It will bring you to the first new post.

Might just be habit, as this is the way other forums work- from most-recent posts backwards to the beginning. On threads that I follow, that's the intuitive way to do it, IMO. I really prefer it and would like the option, that's all.

As a side request, it't be handy to be able to navigate within a thread by page number, since, again with long threads, it's a pain to page through one at a time.

never been to a forum that has last post first, as for the rest, large ones like TWAT have many pages but obviously you can't have all 1995 but look at the address

is the last page, if you want page 195 click on any page and then change the last number to

Check out the AVS forums. And I just looked again at several other networking & AV forums I use....they all post most-recent first. Or give the option.

Look, it's just a preference & convenience, and every other forum that I know of lets you do it that way. I realize that there are ways to navigate the RC forum as is....I'm just saying they seem awfully archaic and cumbersome. Since Daniel is working on a re-design, that is an obvious area for improvement.
