We are actually trying to do this WITHOUT a lawyer...
but remember, lol I work as a legal Administrator
and have the whle legal company haleping me through
this (we don't want te hassel... lol and I dont
want to pay the 1/3)

Nice to work in the field ain't it? ;) (I'm doing PC tech support right now on contract, but my original job is as a paralegal in a community legal clinic, so I'm able to keep up with what the lawyer is telling me, which is a good thing) Personally though, I'm glad he's handling this for me, I just wanna concentrate on getting as healthy as I can, which lately has been two steps forward and 1.5 steps back :P, so he'll get his fee and I'll know that I didn't get jerked around by the insurance company.

Kudos to your dad helping you through this, my parents were (and are) giving me all the support they can, it makes things just that much easier :)

Yeah, waiting until you know the extent of your injuries is a key factor, I didn't know how messed up my knee actually was from the accident because of the surgery they had to do the day after the accident to reconstruct my right tibia. (I now carry around a 12cm titanium plate, seven screws and a bone graft from my right hip in there, so it's a nasty little jigsaw puzzle ;D)

Yikes! I am very fortunate that my legs were completly spared (only four bruses on my left knee). I now have some pictures of my car.... my mom took two pictures on site and when we went to the wrecking yard I took many there. The kids in the other car got their legs messed up but my car crushed in....then stopped at the paggenger compartment. I had a great car.

*sigh* Back to autotrader.com I have to look for another now.

I hope you finish recovering as well Nef.... its a pain isnt it? (heh)

My mom took the pictures for the insurance company, she said that when she saw the car that she couldn't stop shaking and crying until she got the heck out of the wrecking yard (I saw the pictures while I was in the hospital, I think I turned two shades whiter than I already was, no mean feat, since the right side on the roof on my car was *FLAT*, I mean even with the hood... if I'd have had a passenger -shudder-)

Heh, I think I'm a walking ad for good old American *cars by the pound* if I was in anything smaller than what I was in, I doubt I'd be here cracking wise about it :P

Yep and lots of painkillers (I swear that I've taken so many Tylenols that I can taste them in almost everything I eat LOL)
