I bet a search would almost be useless.... That story, although funny, has been hammered to death and any search would give countless hits on just off handed comments. Truth be told, I don't think I ever read the original story. I did get bored at work one night and created this in honour of his blunder...: " target="_blank">" border="0" alt="Photobucket">I printed that out & it's on my refrigerator! Thanks! LOL!!!

That IS the original story.
The way to search for something like that is to find a couple of words that you don't think pop up too often, and enter each word with a + before it. That way you'll only get the threads that have BOTH of those terms in them.
I found it once by searching all Mr. Stanley posts that had the three letter word starting with "g" indicating a particular sexual preference. I didn't want to use the word again here as that would make it harder to find the original story. But think about it: how many Mr. Stanley posts do you figure use that word? THAT is how to find things here!

Well, I actually hadn't read it in a couple years either, and just revisited it...Still gives me panic attacks thinking about it!
The funny thing is that when I was getting reamed out by the builder and contractor and fire chief, my cell phone rang I answered it, and it was my ex wife screaming at me for being a week late with the alimony!! I seriously thought about running out the back and jumping off the seven story sun deck to the street below! Jeezes!!!
Yesterday I was helping a fellow CI on a big restraunt retro... I was watching him sort of blindly drilling into a wall in in the kitchen, and commented..."Man you are brave or crazy" --- he didn't exactly understand what I was trying to say, and happily kept drilling away! Wow!

About 13-15 years ago when we got our first 60" flex bit, my fearless leader at the time was trying out and drilling over his head across the ceiling when all I heard was him screaming loudly...somehow he managed to get the whole center strip of his hair wound up on shaft of the bit..all i could do was laugh at him...here he was trying to be cool and show me how he was such a great installer and pulls a nice strip of hair out of his head.. I had to get up on the ladder and get the drill into reverse and back it off, but he had such a great amount it started pulling hair in reverse as well..things got to a point where the scissors had to come out...Well his reverse mowhawk didnt look good on him
I picture it ever time a pull out a long flex bit...good reminder...LOL!
