Doesn't make sense that Google would want to get into this market...there's already a lot of browsers out there. Maybe 5 years ago before the popularity of FF and Opera and stuff, but why now?

I am guessing to tweak it to what they do. Everythingh is always a syep to something else.

Hmm, so while I sit in my hotel room in Denver, I decided to try it out.
1. It's FAST. Really fast. Has an interesting way of drawing table-based pages... much smarter than other browsers.
2. It seems to display Remote Central just fine. So I'm happy...

They changed that issue apparently.
And I think the reason Google wants Chrome out there is to work better with their online apps, hence the processes in each tab where the tab process can break, but not bring down the whole browser.
They aren't doing the browser world a huge favour. They are trying to do themselves a favour in supporting the web apps in their cloud.

Google wants you using products they own. Search/Email/Picasa/Grand Central/Browser etc. Getting everyone to use the browser made them a bunch of money. Everything they do is also meant to generate cash just like the actions of every other business in the world.
I surfed for a while and it is fast and so far no bugs or crashing. I have not poked around in the menu but the first thing i noticed is that RoboForm is missing. RoboForm is like my internet Tivo. It has changed the way i surf the internet just like Tivo changed the way i watched TV. I cant live/surf without it. Hopefully the two can play together.

I have crashed it a couple of times now, I got a pop up window saying "Whoa, you have crashed Chrome" or something similar.
Was fine as it restarted right back up when I reclicked the icon
It does seem to load quite a bit quicker on most pages I usually frequent
I did notice it had troubles loading the RTI website though, some items wouldnt load , but todat it seemed better, but still had a few issues

When i first installed/opened Chrome it was super slow. I restarted the computer and since then its been running pretty fast and no crashing. One thing i just realized is that i cant load my Xpanel because Crestrons e-control wont install in chrome.

I tried Chrome and I miss the menu bar (unless I'm missing an option to add it). For example, how do you search for text within a page using Chrome, or how do you View Source?

To view source right click the page/view page source.
To find test look to the top right corner you will see a little page icon next to the wrench. Click the page icon and then click find in page and a little search box drops down.
Those are 2 important features for me. I wouldnt be able to use it without them.
