Has anyone else tried to open he link to page 1936...?

The link was there before we hit that page, and everytime I try and open it, it directs me to a error page:

I'm waiting for the next post, which should start off pg# 1936 to see what happens. Or am I the only one experiencing this...?

When doing the test import of the Intermission forum, my script caught an error in that thread - two bad posts in the middle. I corrected the data file, however the index still shows somewhere around 2 posts more than exist.

It seemed to have been a bug where some linebreaks weren't removed from a post many years ago... I can't recall the post number, but the message had a long series of "000,000,000,000" in it, which resulted in two bad posts following it. I don't recall how it displayed, but my import program choked on it.

Not sure, but I think it was meant to be a Google.

. . . Secondly, and one that actually relates to me, I found
one entry with no user name and another with merely an
IP address as the name. On checking both profiles I found
they actually belong to me, so hey diddly ho I've added
them to my total. Please, no accusations of account padding;
looking at the totals you'll see it hardly makes a "ha'peth"
of difference . . .

There was some problems with data corruption before I
moved to the dedicated server; that might account for
some of the bad entries you saw (if you happened to note
the post numbers I could check it out).

Found them; posts 9087 and 9088. Looking at them again
though makes me think they're merely "echoes" of 9086
and should really be deleted, but would that cause too
much trouble?

Think I'm going to have to re-jig my stats spreadsheet.

Oh well...

I may have known that, but you guys bump the threads so rampantly here in the Intermission that I completely missed that thread...lol

If nothing else... my thread title has a much better flare to it ;)

edit: Looks as though someone took exception to my lack of period use in "The Word Association Thread" acronym. My bad... please accept my appologies.

Originally my thread heading was using "T.W.A.T". Without the use of the periods to define it as an acronym. I discovered today that it had been edited by someone other than myself, to include the proper punctuation.

I'm assuming some offence was taken or at the minimum it was felt inappropriate, so I thought an appology was warranted.

It is smokinghot, he is always a bit late to the game :)

and to think I took the time to point out the work around and and he did not take the time to read it :(

but you guys bump the threads so rampantly here in the Intermission

that is why there is NEW at the end of new threads and new posts :)

Without the use of the periods to define it as an acronym

yeah ;)

edit: Looks as though someone took exception to my lack of period use in "The Word Association Thread" acronym.

the only one that could do that is Dan
