So what's left to do when one is at work and has been to the end of the internet and back again....?

For the record... I do maintenance. So my job entails sitting on my ass and waiting for something to break. Luckily, I have a PC with internet access at my disposal.

Any suggestions guys....? anything....?

I'm at the point where basket weaving could become an option.

  • Chicken Invaders - Worms - etc

  • Sudoku

  • General Knowledge/Cryptic crosswords (I prefer GK)

  • Reading (novels and non-fiction)

  • The odd home work job. (Renovating some old Meridian 105 amps - T.W.A.T. stat. updating - cleaning the bike - cleaning my boots - etc)

And I'm afraid that's it for now. I've got to get ready for work.

  • Chicken Invaders

I've actually tried Chicken Invaders at my last place of employment, and no, it's not the reason I'm no longer there. :) It downloaded fine and started, but quickly crashed. It kept freezing up my laptop, so I finally gave up on it. Maybe I'll give'r another kick at the can.

You have the link handy djy...?

  • I actually meant to bring in my BBQ for an extensive cleaning... Obviously, I forgot.

You could try correcting or creating a few Wikipedia entries

    Catalogue your CD/DVD/photo/whatever collection

Learn a new language - several internet sites for that these days

One time I clicked on a Porno site... All of the sudden there were multiple non -stop Porn pages that kept piling up with no way to stop them... I finally had to unplug the computer!!

The worse part was several of them got embedded onto my desktop, and the owner's wife came in the next day and let's say she was not impressed at all!

Needless to say it was a little AWKWARD!!! LOL!!!

Yeah, you wanna try out the porn in the privacy of your own home before you go clicking on someone else's computer.

Ernie, you can say that again! The funny thing is, I was actually clicking on a website of a local talk radio show, and all these porn sites were linked to the Talk Show program!

I finally had to hire a guy to come over to the shop and remove the desktop icons that were embedded! Very embarrassing!
