Started a new job in March after working for my self for a few years, and since starting i have amased a total of 179,423 frequent flyer points. The job sounded nice to start with as i would get to see the country and parts of asia but the novelty has now worn off.
Now how many frequent flier miles have you got this year.

Ohh and if you do fly alot join American Airlines club as its easy to get into airline lounges than if i were to have stayed with Qantas as i would have had to pay each year, AA is free.

60,000 miles. These days if you ignore the pain of the airports it's no different to catching a bus or train. Nothing like being trapped in a silver tube for several hours!

Have fun trying to get anything meaningful from those frequent flyer miles too!

In my lastjob i got over 750,000 point and each year went business class somewhere overseas to use them up. Last trip i had went to Europe Buisiness class and arrived back in the country the same day the airline went belly up and lost some 2600 points. AA and Qantas on the other hand i have no expoerience.
Well im off again tomorrow morning back to Perth for the week.

well this summer my Sister and three kids went to Greece for a month and her husband for two weeks on points, My sister and kids might have had it a bit tough with two stops but I my nephews considered it meaningful (I am guessing my sister and BIL as well, but my nephews where still exited about it the last time I saw them and they wanted me to see the video and pics of their trip even though they came back several months ago, and still use some of the Greek words they learned)
