Ah...yes...my bad...Manchester, Hereford, what's the difference?

Probably more than meets my eye.

About 140 miles and a few (hundred) thousand in population.

City of Manchester / Greater Manchester (2000 data)
439,500 / 2,585,800

Hereford / Herefordshire (2004 data)
55,940 / 177,800

PS
Why doesn't the system pick my entry up during the scroll?

Anyone care to guess?

Two pins for Kansas, Topeka being one and the other being AOL, which actually appears to be the middle of a field a few miles outside of Hutchinson.

Go on, give us a clue.

I figured it out. If you view the map, it automatically pins you based on where your IP address traces back to.

Which isn't necessarily accurate. Mine originally placed me in Albany, I'm in Buffalo though. Now there's someone else who checks in from Albany too.

You have to edit your pin with your location to make it the most accurate.

So all of the unnamed locations are people that have viewed the map but not bothered to enter their information.

Ah ha!! That makes sense of the another guy from Barrie. I added myself at work...almost T.O. and viewed the map at home. Bit of a pain... hopefully only one auto pin from any given ip address.

I'm closer to Hutch than Topeka.

I'm not AOL so the 'map' must think I'm in Topeka.

I'll give you the win for the right state!

AOL would be someone using AOL. Since it's dial up they really can't trace your location through an IP address too well.
