Oh, and as for the logo itself. Some wag reckons it looks like a "Hoodie" mugging a pedestrian. Pretty apt for London then.

Our press is full of how bad the logo is - I must admit I don't like it, but I'm not sure that our people are any better at choosing such things! Only another five years of hype to go!!!

my son is an obsessed Graphic design student and he hates the logo. My son is incredibly anal about typefaces etc so much so as we drove past a shop he exclaimed "oh my god!!" we thought something was really wrong like a kid had been ran over or something..apparently some company had used comic sans as the font for the name of the shop.. comic sans to him is the spawn of all evil..lol The 2012 logo is poor in so many ways BUT the sun etc saying that a monkey and a blind woman can do better is really a go at graphic design in general. Yes the 2012 logo is pee poor but not all design is easy to do well. all of us here who have had a go at designing a remote understand this i guess
