No. No ... this isn't a thread about the supernatural.
When a customer asks for a device that will help them find their remote control or their keys is there a modern alternative to the clunky chirpers?
I never could suggest a thing...Or at least recomend...

I would guess realist.
this is for someone that loses the remote (keys, phone...), talking from experience, this either happens for one of three reasons
1)someone sometimes leaves with remote
2)remote is eaten by the seat
3)remote went flying somewhere
all of these can easily happen with this device.
let's call it a locator and the thing you are looking for the remote
step 1: click locator
step 2: walk with locator in hand to where the noise is coming from
step 3: find remote
step 4: pick up remote and leave down locator
step 5: wonder were you left the locator the next time you are looking for the remote :)

And then, our locator is now another device that is cluttering up the lounge, coffee table, etc., so we would need to have it built into our universal remote...and we are back to square 1 :-)
