You spend the best years of your life behind bars, wrongly accused, with "wonderful" neighbours. Then they want 25% of your compensation for board and lodgings! [Link: telegraph.co.uk]It's not as though they voluteered or had a choice!

And I thought the the US had some screwed up rulings... You don't know the half of it. Don't try to evict a trespasser - that's assault. And god forbid you kill burglar - that's manslaughter.

Never mind killing a burgler... if he should happen to hurt himself while burgling your place he can sue you too.

I have heard it said that if the injured burglar is discovered out in the street (we won't know how they got there of course!) then THEY have to explain the circumstances as to how the injuries were sustained and in doing so are admitting to breaking the law in the first place.

I always give them a good kicking then carry them out to the street in my disposable coveralls (only £4.49 for 5! from screwfix direct). works like a gem everytime.
