Most of you will know I like a drink. Well my taste extends to wine too.
Staying off the beer tonight tried a Sicilian Shiraz called inycon estate Shiraz 2005 this oak aged red is simply marvellous. This wine is Smooth yet tasty,( i can taste deep berry flavours and a hint of black pepper) This wine is ideal for people not into aggressive red wine yet flavoursome enough for the experienced palette.
For a wine under the £5.00 a bottle this is serious value for money normally sells for about £7.99 a bottle but is on offer at a few places ..well worth a try.
any one else recommend decent wine for under £5.00/$10.00 US

Dancing Bull Merlot.
Fat Bastard (not kidding)
Both California wines that are quite appealing to me.

We have several local wineries that offer great reds(depending on the year) but I don't think they ship abroad. The nice thing about the locals is you can taste before you buy! They've become quit refined over the years. Matches or betters the 'big names' that are $20 or more a bottle for less than $7.

If you have any locals, check them out. You might be supprised!
Every day is a good day.......some are just better than others!

Yes I find that does happen quite often, particularly with those fruity reds.

Is this the five minute whine, or the full half hour?

Personally, I like any of the Yellowtail wines from Australia. They are really good, and only 6-7 dollars a bottle.

I did give it some consideration, thinking it to be a possible plant, but I hate to disappoint.
