I just purchased Toshiba 50hm66(@ best buy $1281.99) and Bose LS28 . Does anyone know which code the Bose remote needs to control this tv ? Also where to position the Bose tv on/off detector ?
Any help is appreciated .

Why would I want to get rid of SDE when they're helping to rid the sea of poor quality fish?

Yes, but there is a facility to allow them to be controlled by IR - at least the 38 and 48 have this facility; not sure of the 28.
