And 7-4 tonight against Toronto! A close game...Toronto took the lead 2-0 in less than 5 minutes, with both goals coming on 2 man advantages. We rebounded and scored the next four, only for Toronto to tie it up again. Daniel Briere put in a nice one to make it 5-4, and we scored two empty netters. Whew!

Hey, and we did it with 6 rookies. 5 of which are not starters, one who is. Not too bad, huh? Although they should keep Stafford or Paille once Roy gets back in place of Andrew Peters...who doesn't really have many hockey skills.

It's 8:00 vs. the Habs tomorrow night.

OT win, 3-2, against NYR yesterday night. Oh, and we lost the Habs game with 1.0 second left in OT.

YAY! for yesterday. DOH! for the Habs game. I'm going to throw in a "Dang" for that one too!

What's our record now?

19-3-2 for 40 points.

We play Friday vs. the Rangers, again, at 8 PM, and it's on TSN. We should be a lot better injury-wise...rumor has it that forwards Derek Roy and Jochen Hecht will be back along with defensman Toni Lydman.

Tonight against the Rangers.

TSN has something cool where the announcers are sitting inbetween the benches. Makes me wonder how they can see the game.

Oh well, I don't even get that channel. Probably wouldn't watch it anways.

Sorry, but I just have to crow about our superb win in the F.A. Cup today; 4-0 against Port Vale (a Division 1 side). What price a rematch with Newcastle United?

Good 'ol England. I see they've snatched defeat from the jaws of victory again.

Alas, the rematch is not to be . . . just yet, any way. Bournemouth or Bristol Rovers away. What a dull draw.

Never mind, here's the BBC's virtual recreation of Andy Ferrell's (and Hereford's fourth) goal.

And as a matter of interest (to Bob, maybe). The scorer of the first goal, Luke Webb, is the son of this fellow - ex Manchester United and England International.
