Hi i went to the pub with the lads .
we all got really bladdered and i mean steaming drunk .
we did a pub crawl then we went to a strip bar then i had a chicken tikka kebab with hot sauce from the local kebab shop or at least that was what the remains looked like on my shirt in the morning ,
anyway i awoke the next morning with the hangover from hell .
i was awoken by a smell that can only be described as evil, even worse than my body odour and breath from the night before, this ungodly smell was coming from down stairs ..from the kitchen.
i staggered down the stairs my headache thumping on every step i took.
The clattering of pans and the vile smell coming louder and stronger from the kitchen.
As i entered the kitchen there was my wife frying one of my socks in the frying pan!!
I asked what are you doing?
she replied i am only doing what you asked me too when you came in last night drunk!
I said what?i am sure i never asked you to cook my sock?

How would you know, maybe whilst you were drunk you tried fried sock and liked it - though I do concede there could be a considerable difference between man made fibre, natural cotton and wool.

It never pays to get so drunk that you don't even know that you ordered socks for breakfast. Does you wife even know how you like them done?

Sigh, seems I rather wasted that couple hours developing my sock fricassee recipe. Ah well, perhaps another time.

Depends on if you use the US method of mesurement or if use the metric system.

I'm afraid I will have to insist on metric only.
