Paul: Elit is a regular title. You need to get to 10k to get it. So anyone can have it. Some other tags are not.
Congrats and welcome to the club DJY, I guess Edmund and I will have to teach you the secret handshake and stuff.
It is also a testament to the cool international flavour of the site that the top posters are from different countries

He did say it in the past. But did not say at what point and I think some stuff have changed since then in the tags (and general forum layout). We now know 10k is for elite.
PS he had said at the time that there was one more level beyond where I was , at the time I was the only elite user

So if that still holds true, there is one level above Elite. Maybe at 20k or 25k? Or 50k? Who knows...

I think there needs to be a tag that excludes the thousands of posts in Intermission! LOL
Our new "Elite" member.......... 'scuse me...... cough.... cough........ has a number of Intermission posts included in his total......... cough....
If the three of you weren't so helpful in the rest of the site, I'd say the "Elite" tag would be BOGUS!!! ROFL
