We need to install a keypad remote system where the keypad will communicate with the DVD player by displaying the disk number etc, on the keypad and also communicate TWO way with the receiver. Does anyone know what options we have to do this two way thing? Client is very anxious to have something built that will allow him to see statuses, etc on a panel remote.

Any input would be greatly apreciated.

Regards,
V

Lemme quote goodnf. Or is that kind of old now?

Try the CI Lounge. Duh! That's where this belongs.

Ever read the note below this or right above the place where you edit the new post?

Do we NEED to be sarcastic to everyone who mistakenly posts in the wrong area, or doesn't do something exactly right when they do limited posting?

Wouldn't simply a mention of the best place to post be good enough?

If I were a user here, I wouldn't feel too great getting a comment like that.

Now, if I knew someone who constantly was posting FOR SALE items in the different forums, and that he knew better, then maybe a more stern post would be in order.

Maybe it's just me.

I'm getting tired of all of the flaming and sarcasm on this site as of late, probably because I frequent the URC forum the most.

Can't we all be a little more civil to each other?

1) Good fun? This isn't the only post that makes fun of people without giving any useful information.

2) Yes, I'm still ticked we don't have a hockey team!

3) "Snobbish". Did I even use the word? And aren't you just the witty one about looking in the mirror.

Your calling me snobbish is based upon???

4) I'm relaxed, thanks. It's the people who are scared to ask a question who aren't. And I have been emailed many a time with a question because they are afraid to get sarcastic answers like the one above. The one above is indeed mild compared to many on this site, but still not necessary.

5) If you already KNOW someone, then some back and forth kidding and sarcasm is great! That's what's so cool about this site. But when you don't have a clue who the person is, just help them out!

I don't know...it's something about the Intermission Forum that makes the smart (haha) people on this site not talk about anything useful here. I guess we all need a place to forget anything important! Haha.
