Ummmmmmm....... this study was done by "you guys!", so how does this prove that you people (Limey's) are not so daft? Because you "proved" to "yourself" something that "you" wanted to "prove"?

ROFL!!!

Anyway, on a more serious note, did I not see a number of stats in the last few years that say that Brits actually drink more coffee than tea, and it has been that way for quite a few years now?

Does the "d" in "djy" stand for "daft"? Just wondering........... ;-)

This could very well be true. I like coffee, but the wife doesn't (can't even stand the smell of it) so I make do with tea - at home anyway (almost 6 pints a day).

Darn! You sussed it.

Hmmmmmmm...... if they ban "noids", djy will be gone!!!

No one can replace him? We wouldn't have anywhere near as much fun in the Intermission forum!!!

I say let's sign a petition to save the "noids"!!! ;-)

I wonder if they'll lament my disappearance as much as the (in)famous Mr K's?

Don't/do* panic. No plans as of yet; I must, at least, make it to "Super Duper (Pooper Scooper) Member."

You can delete "YOU" anytime you like. As for applicability . . . I've not stuck to anything yet so I would imagine not.

Hmmmmmm..... apparently YOU is not a user here, so there is no way ANYONE can delete YOU, not even "I" can delete YOU for that matter.

But, if YOU ever register on this site, YOU will be gone pretty quick, I'd say! :-/

dj: You'll have to learn to "stick to it" if you want to get anywhere in life. Just a little advice from someone who used to listen to "tapes".

Which rather begs the question; if YOU, I or ANYONE are not registered members, why did you ask the original question?

As for sticking to it, how do you propose I travel to there and back? Admittedly it would mean my avoiding sticking to anything, but it would hardly help with my travelling to work.

PS
Tapes are wonderful; cross weave filament being my favourite.

Why? Why does anyone ask Why? Is there really ever a proper answer to Why?

Now....... WHEN? There's a question!!! Or Who? But Why? Bah humbug!!!

But I didn't ask "Why", I asked why. For all I know Why could be the American way of spelling Wye . . . and the answer to that is river.

A possible "double whammy" . . .

[Link: news.bbc.co.uk]

Perhaps I ought to make tea with cider?
