Any one know of a good online radio station to
listen to the action while i program MX3000s all
day? I can't seem to find any that are worth a
damn..
TIA

Just wondering if you could program the remote to change to the channel the games are on.

So far that has worked for me, no matter what I program the channel keeps going back to ESPN HD2.

lol

Breaking news - this just in - Italian player wins Oscar for dive at the end of the game! Gets PK to win...

Forget the players, I think it's high time FIFA took a look at the standard of refereeing.

Having been a ref... AGREED! Especially since it was so obviously a dive.

The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune. Just think, if England manage to beat Portugal (I do so love Russian officials) and France manage to overcome Spain (can't really see it, but you never know), there'll be at, at least, one rubbish team in the final.

Not Bad, but no way near as good as the infamous Vinny Jones/Gazza pic.

A man has two tickets for the World Cup Final. As he sits down, another man comes down and asks if anyone is sitting in the empty seat next to him.

"No", he says. "The seat is empty".

"This is incredible!" says the other man. "Who in their right mind would have a seat like this for the World Cup final, the biggest sporting event, and not use it?"

"Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. My wife was supposed to come with me, but she passed away. This is the first World Cup Final we haven't been to together since we got married".

"Oh.....I'm sorry to hear that, that's terrible, but couldn't you find someone else, a friend or relative, or even a neighbour to take the seat?"

The man shakes his head. "No, they're all at the funeral".

Well they did and now we know... and knowing is half the battle...

I really dislike the ITV commentators. The match between Spain and France for example.. i think i was watching a different game!
France were really poor in the first half with Spain having the ball for most of that half.
The second half France dug in got a bit dirty but did play better.
Overall even though it was 3-1 to France i think they can count themselves a little lucky.

The Brazil against Ghana was another one .
Brasil were in no real danger of losing that game and the commentators were just bigging up the underdogs.
No African team has scored against Brasil and with the shooting ability of the Ghana team that record was not going to be threatened.
Cafu for me was excellent. and man of the match for me had to go to ..
Ronaldo not for his play in that game but for becoming the highest goal scorer in the tornaments history! Never mind he is over wieght or slow or not tracking back or chasing the ball.
Give him the ball and he scores, sounds simple but many teams do not have such a consitant ,reliable striker.
who did the ITV commentators first suggest should be man of the match the brasilian goal keeper! for obviously watching all the way off target stikes or shots straight at him!

I don't like football on ITV full stop. As for the Spain/France match . . .

I was told it was a good game; watched it this morning and kept falling asleep. Strange how people watch the same game, but "see" it differently.

Many years ago, during another world cup, a certain member of the engineering staff (now gone to the part P wonderland in the sky, alas) took great pleasure in deriding England's chances. A young apprentice, therefore, christened him . . .

PS

Apparently, my name comes out as Davildo. I'm just glad the A and V are there.

Given that my forecasts (though based on sound logical reasoning) have been about as successful as the SGE's team selection and tactical decision making (alas, I didn’t get paid £30m for being a failure) I will plump for a Germany/France final, with France coming out as the winners.
