I think the (Royal) screw in question would more than likely be Phillips...

I think you may have inadvertenly hit upon a novel idea . . . in-built remotes.

Just think, no more pads and batteries; just drum your fingers on the arm of a chair and hey presto, the channel changes. Macro programming might be a little awkward though.

Channel change = Drum fingers on armchair
Turn off = Turn head left (towards pic. of mother in-law)
Turn on = Rub either nipple

.... The list goes on and I leave it up to your imagination the steps required for discreet inputs.

You're right about macros though... I guess those would require two-handed operation... Maybe enlist the wife's help...
