Think of it as a challenge; "I do it because it's there" type of thing. It also happpens to be easier (and safer) than trying to climb Everest.

I think we should schedule an RC Everest expedition! We could all go, and take all our geeky toys, and ultimately die on the mountain...

Actually I did have a pair of Hunter's; didn't think much of them. I now use a pair of these;



Le Chameau - Vierzonord (purchased from this 'ere very boutique). And as much as I'm loathed to admit it (their being French of course) I have to concede they're extremely good - to the extent that I've now convinced the wife to buy a pair.
